    I have a cab high shell and my platform sits right on top of the wheel well. I'm able to fit both of my coolers on top of the platform.

    I'm not so much worried about cargo as I am about crawling in and out with a higher floor. Smacked my head pretty good on the hinge last time out. Plus, I need a platform that extends over the tailgate. #shortbedproblems

    I think my shell is like 3" taller than my cab. I'm grateful for that 3", it makes a big difference. My platform is about 12" high, I think, and I can still fit my fridge on it's slide and be able to pull a beer out of the fridge with out sliding it out.
