Been driving in local mountains this weekend, ran it in S4 mostly. Downshifting on downhill grades.
I'm Liking the way my truck's driving much better than in Drive.

Still trying to figure out my poor fuel economy. If I drive to work using cruise control, it stays in 5th pretty much the whole time I'm going 70. I can cancel cruise and it immediately shifts to 6th and will hold it up to 75. That's really strange that it chooses to run in the lower gear. I see 3-6mpg better when not using cruise control on the highway. This is flat Central Texas. We have some small, gentle hills, but nothing crazy.

I’m going to have to switch to S mode. I have 16k miles and in the last 3k my MPG has gone from 21 to 17ish. It’s driving me crazy. Same damn drive, same hardware, totally stock truck. The A/T “learning” crap is really horrendous.

Winter gas may be a small part of that.

4mpg drop because of winter gas mixture? Seems extreme.

Mine has gone down a couple in the last couple of months. I blame it on gas and warm ups. I agree, 4mpg is extreme.
