Hey Everyone. Long story short I had Dakar mediums (095R) and the CB drop installed yesterday along with 6112s/5160s. Loving it so far however I'm getting a slight vibe at 10-25mph, mostly on deceleration. Sort of like a light rumble strip feeling. Its minor and I was even wondering if its the new Duratracs I installed.

Anyways, I noticed that the stock leafs have a small shim on them. Should I have installed the shims under the Dakars? Wondering what people that had the shims stock did for their Dakar install.

probably should try that shim in there yes. i think toyota installs the shims now specifically to eliminate that rumble issue you are having. my 2018 had them also, just installed a toytec aal and removed the factory shim and added a 3 degree shim from toytec, it is better than it was stock. you could also order the 3 degree shim that has an open end to slide past the centre pin so you don't have to take the leaf pack apart.

thanks man. I was thinking of just getting the 3 degree shim and leaving that little shim alone in the stock pack. Because since I'm lifting with the dakars, I'd probably need more of an angle right? I'm also getting slight vibes as we speak so I gotta try it regardless.
