Unknown lift, maybe 2" I don't know how to ID it, and would rather set it back to stock.
@CaptAmerica You are in a lousy situation it seems. I don't understand how a contractor gets a contract to deliver mail that includes not delivering mail. Neither rain, nor snow nor........... Who negotiates the contract, who manages it, how often is it renewed, what input might you have or are you at the mercy of whomever set up the contract?

I think you're going to have to move. Either that or start offering creative alternative motivation on whomever parks in front of the boxes.

Since @CaptAmerica said he likes his neighborhood, I'm thinking that creative motivation is a good idea. The only other problem is when visitors show up and block the mailbox. Can't easily track that offender...

Talking to the city council. Would be nice if it was standard practice throughout the entire city that all gang mailboxes were a no parking zone. That is apparently the issue - there isn't a rule. They've left it up to the HOAs...which means that the city doesn't do the enforcement. If it becomes a city matter, then the enforcement gets REALLY easy...with tow trucks!
Recurring social engineering is probably our best bet. If the residents remind their guests to not block the mailbox, the bulk of our issue is resolved. What sucks is that the builder put it close to a stop sign but not within 20 feet, do we can't use that as an excuse. Most of the time it's not blocked, and often the contract delivery folks come back (or the USPS uniformed package guy comes later). The contractors are on tight timelines, but it does seem a very one-sided contract.

This was a few years ago. Some guy kept parking his oversized trailer across the parking spots. There is parking that would fit his SUV and trailer a few hundred feet away but for a week he would park in an annoying manner. So one day heading to the ramp to drop my ski in the water I stopped and picked up a piece of poster board and a marker. I left a message for him and parked my jeep and trailer properly. It was the last time I had seen him there.

Despite the truck’s orbit-like turning radius, some Oshkosh scumbag heaved that barge into a pair of spots.

are these long trucks douches or just don't want to stick out to the roadway? They are within the lines... their ass is just too big right?? Just picked up a Tacoma as my first truck and still getting used to the length. And we are short beds.

You are supposed to park between the lines. Not on the lines.

At least his mirrors are folded in...so either he hasn't figured out how to tow a ghost trailer or there's hope for him being able to rejoin civilization.
