You guys all hate our state but we know how to have fun in it..... even at times when we're not allowed to.

 

You're f'n crazy Will, Don't do it, & tire issue are lines I will never forget!

 

I remember hearing something said over the radio along the lines of "Come here to something crazy" and I turn the corner with @Dalandser and that picture is the first thing we see.

I'm still laughing about the monotone delivery of 'I believe we have a tire issue.' line.

 

Did no one have mud tires there? Those things are the best in loose sand like that

Well, since it was your's & Miguel's first time there I figured I'd give you a little tour..... on what not to do.

 

You mean exactly what we should do?

You should've seen how many times I almost drove directly into a bowl. On the morning run today, I got stuck at the bottom and had to crawl up to the top. These guys with ATV's were chilling down there and they were looking at me funny when I kept slipping and digging myself into the dune. Haha.

 

Why you think i stopped following you. You set a good example on what not to do. Though I also had it worse then you if I didn’t stop in time

 

Well yes on what to do when you get to the top of a dune in case there is a big drop & no on what not drop into! Lol

 

MT tires are for chumps. Im bringing paddles next time lmao

That was me saying your f’n crazy. I seen you drop into the first bowl then come back up. The 2nd bowl you didn’t come out at all.

I had mud tires but the sand was just so soft

 

Adrian had MTs but I think 32s? They looked good though, I hadn't seen the Dick Cepek MTs in person yet..they look mean.

I was worried being on skinny 33s in the sand but my truck did way better this time in the dunes than it did last time I was out there, but back then I was on 31s. Also I think the RTT weight over the rear helped a lot.

 

Plus taching it up hard always helps haha. Thinking of going for a higher clamping load clutch?

Ya defintely going to go with a heavier duty clutch next time, maybe the Marlin Crawler one. Haven't really looked into it much except that I've heard not so good things about the Competition Clutches that URD sells. I think Torspd was saying they were no good.

Hopefully I've still got a few more years left on this clutch though....that's an expense I'd to avoid for awhile lol. Although after this weekend I probably knocked a year or two off it.
