I will occasionally OFFER my help,

Morning all! Had two inches over night, 3-5 more coming this afternoon. @DrFunker should have a real nice base up here by the weekend, hopefully Sat/Sun gets a little colder than they predict so it's more snow than rain. But we are in a good spot for this time of year I think.

Got a seasons pass this year to Berk. East, hopefully they can open soon and I can put it to use. Doing the math if I go 9-12 times this year it will pay for itself, so that is obviously my goal.

She didn't say no! Haha. Was a healthy pause in there, but it all worked out.

Congrats! I got engaged a year ago this week. Wedding planning is pretty stressy but also pretty damn exciting

Mostly, yeah. Boss makes a light-duty V that apparently is rated for some of the 1/2 tons, but the standard or heavy duty V's are all up around 900lbs or better.

Certainly saves time on mine. :notsure:

Thank you! We are looking forward to it. Will probably end up being a tent in the woods somewhere for us. Haha

Just an idea but maybe you could take her back to that same exact spot again in 6 months. I hear Rangeley is beautiful in the summer time too!
If your looking at different places in the same area ask the places for referrals all the time! We did this at different venues that we were checking out and it helped us out alot! Once we got 2 or 3 places recommending the same vendors we knew we were on to something. We got our DJ and the florist and we even confirmed our cake place using that method

I'm considering giving up the snowblower and buying a light duty plow. Have you seen the ones that are self-angling? Much cheaper and for homeowner use only, but all I'm plowing is my driveway. The only thing I really don't like are that they all seem to attach by a front mount receiver hitch which seems really fairly weak. Seems like a lot of stress on a 2" piece of steel. http://www.thehomeplow.com/

These things aren't exactly cheap either, I mean with the receiver it will run me $2500. So if they suck I might as well pony up for a real 6 way plow.

@mach1man001 is right, ask around when you go to venues for their vendor lists and favorite vendors.

Not sure where you are looking or where in ct you are in @Roody but if you come to Berkshire county I have lots of good vendors I could send your way.

I'd go for a real one. Those things can't stack, and can't handle deep snow, and you're right about it being a lot of stress on a single center mount.

Btw if anyone knows the club or land owners between the South point of mooselook and Richardson lake, I'll trade labor and cleaning to go cruise out there.

The amount of stuff you can see with binoculars in those hills is insane.

Yup and it made the decision making very easy. Only had to check out a few other vendors for comparison. We spent more on the flowers because of it but it was well worth it!
