It's my impression now that while we thought she was double crossing him to give to Negan, she was intending to give him to the helicopter owners.

If this turns out to be the group (I don't think it is the same) that has a 'chopper' in the comic, it already has a pall cast on them, making it untrustworthy from the start.

That was off the wall. Best scene of slow movin show. The gun slinger kid as a lead just doesn't cut it.

 

Agreed about the slow moving. Michonne waxing poetic the first 5 minutes of the episode was too much!!

 

Just wondering..with all the babies and love connections we've seen (more in the past couple of seasons), how is is Carol and Daryl haven't hit it yet? Not that I want it to happen but...

 

According to last night's episode, they're best friends. He must have got friend-zoned. No wonder he went off the grid, feigning looking for Rick for the past 6 years.

So that’s two characters now shown to have the”X” scar and other scars on their backs. Wonder how long they’ll drag out what this is. Something that happened to them during the 6yr time jump? And based on last nights episode Maggie is already gone. I thought she was going to make her departure during the second half of the season.

I think the show has gotten way away from what it was originally, but I also think that its still being written (for the most part, there are certainly some cringeworthy times) decently well. Im hoping that they really start to paint the picture of rebuilding and re civilizing the world rather than introducing a new villian and making the show only about fighting. I think that is the only direction they can go at this point to do something new and if done well, it could be pretty cool to watch.

I think that they are just friends. Likely because both of them had traumatic lives pre zombie apocalypse and that allowed them to connect on a deeper level. I want so bad to go into all the clinical reasons as to why they are friends and not lovers, but I will spare you guys the soapbox haha.

 

Yea Maggie is gone. Im still not certain what to think about the scars. Based on Michonne's reaction to Maggie's disappearance and her unwillingness to be seen by her, I am going to assume that the scars are in connection to that in some way.
