Let me know how you end up liking that impact gun.. I'm not brand loyal, but I have a few other tools in that 19.2v series so Id like to keep it that way if its a good gun

I like that switch panel

I have been considering the same thing, would like to get a set of meaty tires for fun times but my entire week for work is all asphalt. Been heavily considering some steelies with bigger tires, only down side is FJ/Stock tacoma steelies are the only ones that I have found to fit. All the Soft8 style and D hole steelies look amazing but dont clear the calipers on the tacomas . Only way to get them to fit is spacers, but spacers + 4.5" backspace means hella poke.

so far I love it! I installed a carrier bearing drop kit from OME and it took the factory bolts that have been under the truck wince 2009 right out no problem! its got 3 led lights that are super bright on it that really help when you're under a vehicle! ive yet to try it on anything else but when I change my oil and rotate my tires I feel it'll have no problem at all. As far as being brand loyal im one of those guys lol

Fiiiiiiinally can say that the "clunking" noise I have been chasing in my front end is gone. Seems to be at least, in the 30 miles or so I've driven it.

Readers digest version: whenever I'd turn the wheel the suspension seemed to pop or clunk when it loaded up and released (think reversing into a spot at a hard angle then straightening the wheel). Front end parts are all tight, bolts are all tight, replaced radiator support bushing with poly units, pretty much gave up and chocked it up to aftermarket suspension and a big 'ol IFS skid amplifying any sounds.

The fix: Was cruising the forum Saturday and came across a post about a similar noise and that over-tightened LCA bolts could be the cause. Light bulb went off...went out Sunday morning and started loosening and re-torquing all my LCA and UCA bolts with the truck on the ground (weight on the suspension) and jumping on the sliders while anything was loosened to release any binding of bushings.

Now it just squeaks, I'll work on that later

Nice wheels! Definitely de-badge the Taco. Paint /plasti-dip the chrome emblem on the front black. Color key the bumper.

I've been eyeing some of the aftermarket steel rear bumpers but I don't know if I want to spend the bucks. Any suggestions? I might just paint it but I have heard that it can peel if not done right.

I had the truck painted earlier this year and had the chrome trim around the grill sanded and color matched. Now I see a couple of specs of paint missing. Makes me cautious of trying to cover any chrome. Wondering if replacement is the smart way.???
