Some stuff n always adding more stuff . Ceramic window tint, Suntek film, weather tech floor mats, Bottle pro adapter, Schosche mag mount, AJT fob case, vinyl decal dash blackout kit, Meso overhead rack, red dome n map lights, gashole, turn signals, coin bin, dash blackout panel, rims blackout kit, door hinge covers, seat risers, bpf front grill, Hondo nobs, glovebox n console organizer.
Thanks, I didn't even notice the window relocation until you pointed it out. I even bought the meso panel to move the window button. I had some parts from the totaled 18 and the ones I never put on due to the summer heat. After three months I was finally able to pick up the 19 long bed. I must say they fixed the transmission issues it drives better than both the rental trucks I had over the last two months. Now to get on with the sticker n badges removal.

Looks great! Where did you find caps that fit? I'd love to do the same.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
There's no coating that's impervious to scratches and scrapes. Powder coating is up there. More durable than paint, typically (unless it's done poorly).

Two coatings that have impressed me with their toughness are Type III (hard) anodizing and Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD). Trust me, you can not afford to have a set of wheels done in either of those.

edit> Woops, forgot Cerakote (you can't afford that one either)

I can believe that. I'm thinking about just buying a set of gloss black wheel skins to cover my steel wheels and calling it good.

If you're talking about the vinyl inserts (inlays, whatever you call them), it's up to you. I, personally, prefer "honest" finishes like paint, powder coat, chrome, whatever, but there's nothing wrong with vinyl.

I think that's a pretty sharp looking set of wheels in the link you posted, if you're going with 16".

Working on some Tufskinz interior mods. I didn't use the adhesive on the drink holders as I thought it might be worth removing them to clean. They seem fine sitting there. I've also not adhered the vent rings. I think they look good sitting in place, but looking at the pics, maybe better without. I'll give it a few days before finally deciding.

    Yo,

I can't remember if I answered your question about price, sorry if I didn't.

They were a little over $700 for 4.

Getting ready to apply MavCoat Steel Shield as soon as it stops raining and we get a little sun. Since the truck is still brand new I didn't like the thought of covering it with sticky Fluid Film. I figured I would try MavCoat this year, and if it doesn't work that well, I can Fluid Film next year. MavCoat is safe for all surfaces, goes on clear, and is suppose to be dry to the touch. Living in the rust belt has several disadvantages.

I really wish there were an easy way to hide the chrome on the vent rings, rather than just the black portion. #firstworldproblems

I think those wheels look pretty spiffy, too.

The plastic covers on the other hand... I'd sooner paint the wheels that are already on there (or derp for that matter). But hey, it's YOUR truck and YOUR money.

Pretty sure those plastic covers are going to be holding the winter's salt-laden slop against your steel wheels.

    87 fuel added as needed.
DIY bed mat. Not bad for $47. Prob hold up a little longer than most too.
Might trim for rear tie downs. Pending bed stiffeners.

Speaking of rust prevention... Well, I would, but having viewed this thread from 2014 by @TacoGlenn ( ), I'm speechless:

Yeah I thought about that too. I'm not an important person so I'm able to leave my truck set until the streets are bone dry. Hey thanks for your input though.

Any good Ditch light install write ups out there? Lights showed up today and the only trouble I’m having is with the wiring through the firewall to the switch. Don’t know where to start... : /
