i haven't had much luck finding good places in my area. North TX (not the panhandle, NW of Dallas). Tearing up the trails on our deer lease is fun and all, but I'm looking for somewhere else.

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area in Gilmer, TX seems to be the most widely known up in North Texas.

Yeah...a guy from my squadron heads to Lake Buffalo quite often. I haven't been there but I've seen the pics & I intend to head out soon.

    Tailwinds...

A little late, but bridgeport is a blast. We wheel out there almost every weekend. It has mud, rocks, and lots of other stuff to run over and get stuck in. 25 buck to play all day, need OHV sticker.

Does the place in Bridgeport have rated trails? Like easy, medium, or hard. I got a brand new 2010 offroad and want to keep it in one piece. Dirt washes off damaged body panels and busted axles don't. Plus I'm new to the 4x4 thing. Just want to go out solo. Nothing crazy and extreme.

    Thanks.
