It’s definitely a pain! I’ve done it on Tyler’s 4runner and I’m not a fan.

 

Super easy install. You literally unscrew the factory drain plug/gasket and install the fumoto w/gasket. Flick a switch next oil change to let your old oil out. I would not recommend running one if you offroad and don't have a front skid plate though since you run a risk of smashing it on a rock and draining all of your oil on the trail.

 

First oil change since installing my fumoto valve & a lab test for the Tacoma! Big thanks to @smw62891 for providing the outro pic!

Well, I have the factory sport skid, which I know will have to replaced ultimately. I just would like to know I wont have clearance issues with the longer nipple version of the valve should I opt for that one.

Hmm the long nipple one might be too close for comfort, but you could get the smaller nipple or just go nippless ... nippleless ... you get the idea. I like having the short nipple so you can attach the drain line easily.

 

It's a miracle! Youtube alerts actually work sometimes.

 

Hope i didnt make that chris guy mad. But before i judge i would like to see the oil sample results. Or maybe do a side to side comparrision of them booth. I dont like judging others product till i see results. The oil lab at work goes further than the usual cat samples.

 

Just ordered one of there kits 2 to 3 weeks? Will grab one from work tomorrow. Oh yea i forgot i have a wix and a toyota filter i was going to cut up.
