There is a fun gravel road that leads behind Steven's pass to the top of the lifts. If we do early December it could be done. It's more lifted/bigger tire truck friendly. However, with any snow on the road I wouldn't recommend any truck doing it

    Bone fire would be cool

Something similar to what we did for the November meet? Wish I could have stayed for the fire/lunch but I had plans.

Maybe a route a tiny bit more difficult than what we did for November?
Kinda like the "easy" route up when we climbed the powerline area.
That was fun for me being 100% and still building confidence on off-road driving skills.

I was planning on going up to get an Xmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving, probably up in the hills above Lake Kachess if anyone would be interested in that. That’s really the only free weekend for me all month.

I had some trouble there in my long bed. I was dragging the hitch around a lot of the trails. it seemed like they were more setup for short wheelbase jeeps but it was my first time out there so maybe I wasn't taking the right trails.

I’d be in for Christmas trees. Where do you get a permit? The weekend of the 8th sound sounds like a good idea

You can get tree permits at any Forest Circus Office. I think they are around $10, but haven't gotten one in a few years so they may be more.
