Hey, you guys were saying how I was this teddy bear nice guy the other day. Generally I am, that is true, and I don't mind people saying that. I prefer to be nice than not. But when I am provoked the other side of me comes out. The side I have hated my whole life.

There is a guy on here that has butted heads with me and others in the past. I even made amends once and wanted to let bygones be bygones. Last night he posted the straw that broke the camels back.

Needless to say, I lost my cool and I started my reply with this sentence:

Damn dude, that accusation is over the line and dickish.

I really feel sorry for you. Mostly though I feel sorry for the people close to you in your life, and I'm very glad I'm not one of them.

Yea, I prefer the seeing is believing method. The sad part is, the guy could potentially be a much better person if he wasn't such a dick. He posts in threads people ask questions about lighting, and his posts are pages long, and full of "scientific" data that doesn't mean squat to the layman. When he said I was biased that was it. Instead of "i eat crayons" I should say "i ignore tools/trolls".

 

Yea, he has undoubtedly helped a lot of people but he also doesn't care about stepping on toes along the way. I'm definitely not crying about that and can take a lot of heat. I am not some thin skinned snowflake. When you call me dishonest though I have to draw the line.

 

Sounds like a tool with an education. That makes him an educated tool, but no less a tool. You are so polite & eloquent even when upset Roberto. You show much greater restraint than most, including myself.

 

In the jobs i have had in the past, seen alot of people fresh out of colkege think there way us the best n nobody can prove them wrong. Some grow into bigger ahole but most get knocked off there high horse and relearn from real life.
