How much down are.we.talking? Like 2 inches maybe instead of 2.5 or the full 3? I wonder if I can adjust em while on the truck like some co's or have to remove em first like kings.

Kings you should be able to adjust on the truck, like Icons. Just lift the truck so there isn't load on the suspension, loosen the collar bolt, and adjust.

The new generation of Fox shocks without the dual collars are the C/Os that have to be removed to be adjusted. ASK ME HOW I KNOW.

The markup isn't generally significant as we get discounts from dealers. So marking it up off what we pay still generally puts us competitive with what they would charge.

I would NOT go to the lein holder and explain he wants to use the funds for something other than the repairs written on the estimate. They see that check as being written to make the vehicle whole again(and that's their investment until paid off)and might cancel it and refuse to reissue it until a shop asks for it and has documentation to back up that the repairs indicated were actually completed.

Some leinholders may be more lenient but in the handful of times I've seen checks with their names on it they were very specific on wanting documentation proving repairs before endorsing the check and releasing funds.

    Ratchet straps.

Yeah I wanted to do it all the same time, I ordered the UCAs and the wheelers parts the same day, but shit happened. Wheelers parts arrive Wednesday. If I can get a hold of those people and expedite the shipping I might. Because I don't know when I'll have another opportunity to do the work.

Unfortunately they do that because about half the time that's what people do now. That's also why any initial estimate from an insurance company is usually incredibly low. They want to minimize the money lost if you just keep the check and they know a repair facility will get with them in a supplement for anything that was left off. Which they will still fight us on even when it's in the shop but that's what estimators are for.

    What up, holmes?

I know who I'm talking to should I ever need a vehicle repair after an accident.

Thanks a million for your help! One other thing what typically happens to the excess money after the vehicle is repaired. Who gets it?

Generally there isn't excess money as insurance companies are so stingy but in the event there is we have issued refund checks to the customer once the check clears our bank.

So to confirm I would receive the left over and not the lien holder. I can survive with the damage on my front bumper but def need the rear replaced.
