most of them use the same pumps and hydrolic systems are my guess.

I'd assume all these different brands that are out there all buy the material from the same place and throw their sticker on it.

 

I think that is just to run air and wires. My co-worker just bought one and he said it's great!

I'm currently in the middle of building a set of sliders for @baldridge and have enough material for one more set of sliders plus quite a bit more round tubing. (Been using square tube for the main assembly of the sliders and round for the outer "hoop".) Ya'll let me know if I can build something. Looking at building bed racks as well as sliders in the future. I'll build skids as well if enough people are interested, but plate is hard to store in a garage like mine for any period of time without upsetting the wife. Haha.

I'll be leaving for NC for Thanksgiving so I'll have quite a bit of time I can sit down at my computer and knock out some designs for yall where I'm not distracted by my garage.

 

I'm currently sitting at $450 for a set of bolt on, no kickout and $375 for weld-on, no kickout. Haven't designed any with a kickout incorporated yet, but pricing shouldn't increase much for that option. I'm hoping I won't see a need to increase pricing in the future, but for now this is where I'm sitting at. These are for the SBDC. Haven't done a long bed version yet.

 

Sounds good! If you don't mind, just shoot me a PM when you decide on what kind of sliders you're wanting so I can get going on a design. No worries on committing to buying the sliders yet, just trying to get ahead on my CAD.

I'll definitely post photos once I get them built. I'm doing my best to have the mounting as clean as possible by using existing horizontal and vertical holes on the frame. Also will be using a pinch style mount that will hook under the frame at a couple locations. So instead of drilling in to the frame on the bottom, it will just be bolt running to a "pinch plate" that will hook on the inside of the frame if that makes sense. May have to drill one hole underneath if I'm not happy with the strength but I'm hoping not.

Weld on sliders will most likely just be a 3/16 plate that will be welded directly to the frame, nothing too fancy.

 

I can shoot you a few photos later of how mine mount later.

 

Sure, more ideas the better. I’ve got a set of CBI sliders on my truck I’ve been looking at.

You think stock suspension will be ok with the bash plates + sliders? Or should I start researching that to get along with them?
