Checked those, they're tight at 90ft/lbs...shackle and main bolts are torqued too

 

Exhaust hangers next then and then any bolt youvey touched in the last year

 

ya I've had back luck with those rubber hangars breaking on me in the past. I'll give them a check

 

do or dont go with bamf?

 

Bamf slider have a 8" kick out. It's huge. Even with my 2.5" B's with 12.5 wide tires they are still wider.

If you aren't gonna be that wide if stance the 4xi one's will work great. Can't beat the price and lots of rigs beat on those just fine

 

Broken leaf spring? Hard to see sometimes as they break right at the center pin, under the u-bolt plate.
When’s the last time you greased your driveshaft?

 

man I hope it's not a broken leaf spring lol, I had my leafs apart 3 times last summer.

Driveshaft was fully greased *giggity* maybe 3k miles ago, I usually hit it every couple oil changes or thereabouts.

 

Took an amazing winter drive to Estes Park with my lady last weekend in the middle of a mild winter storm. The truck did great on some relatively sketchy roads, but by the time we got back home there was a crap ton of mag chloride on her, so I gave her a good wash. My dude had a blast rinsing her off!

 

Were the elk still rutting?

 

Not at all that I could tell, but I’m no hunter. There weren’t any in town like there typically are during the warmer months.

My family goes and spends about a week there early October, guess that place is full of elk around then

 

I had to go with trail gear since they're basically the only player in town now. Marlin is no longer accepting orders and does not have an eta on when they will receive materials to start production again. I tried to buy a Marlin 3 years ago and after putting down a 100% deposit I waited almost a year before I gave up and pulled my deposit back. An Iconic brand and product but it always seems like they have some major issue they're working thru that equal insanely long lead times.

I haven't tested the Trail Gear yet but so far I have no complaints. Their customer service and specifically their technician Lincoln has been amazing throughout the install for me. Plus they have them in stock. It was in my lap a week after I placed the order.

The triple stick is a PITA and was probably more work than the crawler..lol Be prepared for a lot of beer and hammering . I'm a big fan of RADesign and so far the triple stick is looking pretty good. The levers have more play in them then my twin stick did; but I might be able to tighten it up a bit more.

I pulled the Limited seats out and put the stock ones back in. I'd like to sell the Limited seats, but shipping is going to suck and I live where this type of stuff just doesn't sell.

Might as well throw the fuckers in the burn pile considering all the money I have tied up in them

 

I thought you figured out all you need is the raised trim piece for the outside seat bolt?

 

I would still have to grind the shank off the bushing insert, plus there's still the issue of the lumbar knob being useless as it butts up against the console.

Your experience with Marlin isn’t surprising. They took over six months to deliver my TacoBox after the last big redesign.

I’ve heard the same thing about the triples install! Hopefully the 1” body lift will help alleviate that a bit, which was the biggest reason I went with one. That’s interesting about the play in the shifters, though. I’ll be looking forward to hearing if you can tighten them up.
