Old Man Emu 2.5" lift, brush guard (about to be changed), grey-wire mod, custom bed mounts for 4 jerrycans, custom survival box, maglite mount, KC Dayliters.
Has anyone done it on a Gen 1? I'd love to see some pictures. I've seen it on 4Runners and Gen 2 Tacos, but never a Gen 1.

    Subscribing.
Not sure about the Toyota emblems...but definitely like the deep dish look I've seen on gen II's.

I've been thinking about volunteering to be the guinea pig, but it'll be at least a month before I have to time and the money to get the project underway.

It's looking like I may be the first... :D

    A few bolts are different.
i can't say that i really like it on the green truck in the first link! For some reason it looks funny (imo) on the 1st gen. The grill opening looks like a bubble.

Hmm... Well they both needed to be "massaged" a little more to look their best, in my opinion. Paint the radiator, move the horns, etc.

Thanks for the links, though! Now I'm definitely going to buy another grille to hack up rather than do it to my own. Found a new one, unpainted for $30 + shipping.
