He just told me Charleston. I'm sure he will make it as easy on your son as I am. He sounds like a very stand up guy willing to help out too.

 

I looked he is in Charleston. Would be an easy exchange. We can just wrap some padding around them and strap the in his bed.

95 is about an hour from Charleston. If he can’t come get them then I could meet him and send them down. Love going down that way!

Malcolm @malman2100 there's a guy in this thread named Jim @Jim=TRD Off Road and his son will be heading down I-95 in December. Exact dates TBD. I think we can arrange to have these tube steps delivered.

Thats awesome! As long as its not on a week day (work) I could scoot up to the I26 I95 area and we could pick out an exit to do an exchange. I really appreciate the shipping help.

Rob, in my 3rd Gen, my fire extinguisher sits in the far left corner of the cab behind the seat. There is a little cubby that is the perfect size for my extinguisher.

 

Once Jim talks to his son we will all talk and discuss the exact details. I also work during the week (8am - 6pm min) but weekends are wide open.

 

Jerry, I know the exact spot. I have some rags and paper towels and windex in there I could move over to the passenger side easily. I definitely want to have immediate access should I need it. I am also putting two in there. I caught a sale at BJs for $20 bucks but they are not very big. So I will keep both in the truck. Thanks for reminding about that space back there. If you saw my windows you would see I forget that stuff is there.

 

Yea, I have a cough too I think.......... I'm always willing to take a day off!!!!!!! LOL

 

Ok, I have to head home, even though this thread got me all excited and happy talking about brass nipples and tube steps I can feel myself getting Hangry. Gotta keep my blood sugar in check. I will be back on in about 2 hours though.

I didn't even make it to boot camp. I tried every angle I could only way I was getting in was a presidential pardon.

If I had gone in I'd probably still be in to this day. The military runs in my family and I wanted to continue that heritage.
