Just snagged a Benchmade 551-1bk off Reddit for $115 now to play the waiting game for it to get here.

Will look great with my auto Stryker and 555-1

 

Anyone you guys know any good black Friday sales going,on some of the sites? What reddit subcategory?

 

My Gerber knives. These were available back in the 1980's but no longer made, except for the small folding knife. The boot knife is a Command 1, then the Tac II, and the long thin one is a Command II. They will all shave.

 

r/knife_swap is where I found the 551-1. It's always a good idea to look in the weekly still for sale thread. You can usually get pretty good deals on already low priced knives. I didn't even haggle though on the 551-1 because subreddit requires the seller has to include shipping and PayPal G&S into the price

 

I'm assuming bladehq.com and knifecenter.com will probably have black friday/cyber monday sales

 

I have I believe the 3rd one down. My dad bought me and my sister each one and they have consecutive serial numbers matching our birthdays. He was odd like that. Never used it but it is sharp as hell.

 

My 2 favorites. The Helle my old man gave me about 10 years ago. Its skinned more hogs and deer than I care to count. Damn fine steel in those Helle blades.

The other one is a little roachbelly made by Dean Hazuka. Given to me by a friend who passed on July 4th. I rarely use it but when I do it's usually for whittling in the deer stand or digging a cactus thorn out of my skin.

 

Any of you guys know a good place to purchase foam to make a nice drawer filled with my knifes etc

Was really into knives as a teen but now that I live in a rough area, as a tiny chick I feel way more comfortable carrying a firearm. Ft. injury from a different knife lol

I've got a couple. The bottom 4 are Benchmade knives my company gives out for xmas every year.

4th one down is the first pocket knife I ever had as a kid. It's a Cutco knife, with a serrated blade and a straight blade.

Replaced the aluminum green barrel spacers on my 940-2 with Titanium blue ones. Gonna swap out the thumbstuds for blue ones too.

 

I wish they made purple barrel spacers

 

Wow that's impressive that they give out Benchmades for Christmas presents. I wanna work there
