My wife's iPhone 6 battery failed yesterday (that was the replacement battery too) so we just went ahead and got her an XR. Thing is pretty slick, I said I was gonna keep my 6 a while longer but idk if I want to now lol

I got the Xs and love it. Coming from the 6s, this thing is 10,000 times better.

I didnt have twins but close enough. 2 boys 11 months apart, way back in the day. Anything you want to do to your truck that is over 200 bucks, you may want to do it now, sound advice,

I wasn’t planning on upgrading but I join the FirstNet network and got the Xs.
If there’s an opportunity to upgrade, I’d do it :notsure:

It is an awesome course. Mine expired yrs ago I need to do it again. I had a blast learned a ton. We had a bunch of x-pararescue guys teaching our course.

When I left active duty back in 1996 I thought about getting into civilian search & rescue which would have been a very
easy transition with all my Air Force Search & Rescue training. Nothing more awesome than rescuing someone lost in the
    woods scared for their lives.

Nothing harder than rescuing someone lost in the woods and scared. I have been on a few. The person never just stays where they are which is key to S&R finding them quickly and easily. Frantic, unprepared, and inexperienced civilians are the worst to try and find.

You can probably do it on a semi-voluntary basis, I know NC has a voluntary svc attached to most fire dept or sheriffs depending on the county. It's similar to the reserves in some aspects.

Survival situations scare the hell out of people with no training. I can tell you some stories that would make you say
"What the heck". I had to throw some big dudes off a sinking boat cause they refuse to get in the water so we could
get them in the basket. People just loose their minds when they think they are about to die.

    Thanks! :D
I believe it! I've already planned on putting most things on hold. The truck is right about where i want it within reason. The rest is kind of dreaming and taking it to a new level of commitment to a hobby.

I've been considering trying to find a second job. I currently work 8-5 m-f so maybe deliver pizzas or something to pay for a second vehicle. If I continue that for longer than it takes to pay off the car I could use it for mod money's!

That second job thing wouldn't be a bad idea at least until the kids are born.
