How can you prove that (who ever buys it) that they did not already have it before that date?

You're missing the point... You can't sell it legally. Period.

 

The transfer law only applies to assembled magazines. If someone were to take it apart and sell it as a parts kit to repair a magazine it would be entirely legal

 

Not true. A couple of shops have tried to use a supposed loophole to sell higher capacity mags but it's still illegal.

The classified thread isn't the place for this conversation. Just don't mention the mag. Easy solution.

If you list it you not only run the risk of getting pinched but if the transaction materialized on this forum they could get pinched too. To avoid that they'll just say you can't sell anything firearms related ok the forum to avoid legal troubles.

I'd rather others didn't push the issue & ruin it for everyone.

What part of the law says selling the parts is illegal?

If someone illegally builds a magazine from parts they purchased legally it's on the buyer, not the seller. The seller did not sell a completed functional magazine, they sold parts.

I know of one of the shops down here that sells the 2 pars of the 30’s and even seals 2 parts of the 60’s

 

Well only get banned if someone reports it. Otherwise co is the good child when compared to the az area...
