My luck they wouldn't change the pulley out with the smaller one. Now I have to wait another week probably.

 

I wasn’t rich with the 2.8 until I did the fpr mod. Then stuff just dominoed and my raft got further and further from shore.

 

Then then the tide went out.

 

And my raft moved faster!

 

Same here. Finding it convenient to floor it when near street bikes. They sound the same. Make me slightly camouflaged to the man.

 

The snowball's momentum increased exponentially in both diameter and mass as it traveled down the slope.....We have a long slope.

 

@Roostfactor, was it you that swapped the tb rivits for screws? What size was used?

 

I re-riveted mine. I have seen the Allen/nut combo and it looked bitchen! @loginfailed might know something about this?

 

Ahh, yes. I bet that's right. Should we ever need to fuss with the internals?

 

I did swap the rivets for screws in the 70mm one. I think I used either M4 or M5 screws. Can’t remember which.

 

After having it apart I don’t see a reason to even open it, unless trying to diagnose a problem.

 

Well, I'll do what I usually do and buy both. Less likely I 'screw' it up.

 

There is no need to ever open the cover. They are reliable and last foreverish.

 

Good deal. I was pondering another tb. It's off a 15' low mileage. See if theres a difference.

Another random one. How does one tap threads that taper slightly? My meth nozzle has threads that have a slight taper. No nut threads on it correctly. I wanted to make a tb plate for it. Snow makes them but not for a tundra. My choices would be modify a chev or hemi meth plate or experiment with a glorious airaid unit. Didnt want to cowboy it on the urd adapter. But that would be slick.

Hey guys. What noises do these blowers make when they need maintenance. Mines making a buzzing sound. Like the playing card in bicycle spokes. Crap.

 

That could be the coupler I’m assuming. Or perhaps the front or rear snout bearings. Either way, for being a fairly newer s/c being lower milage you shouldn’t be having those problems just yet......

 

My thoughts as well. I did give it plenty of wot today. Truck was properly warmed up. I think it's the coupler too. Zz performance seems to be no more. I'm trying to source a coupler now.
