I just can’t believe how many Folks don’t even have a Proper first aid kit in their Rig.

 

Agreed. I have a full "ditch" bag in both my vehicles.

 

I've got up to minor lacerations and splints covered. And my first aid kit is Overkill, but I prefer it that way But I could be better prepared in case of roll overs and events such as chainsaw kick backs.

It's the heavy bleeder that I need to be ready for.

 

It'll be a whole lot better at 6am when dipshit leaves

I never carried one until I bought the Tacoma. Not a week after putting it in there, it had to be used on a buddy that had a gravity attack on the boat ramp

 

That reminds me of the thread with the guy whose friend had a kickback and had lost some fingers I believe

 

That's basically what woke me up. I was basically the stich em' up guy for oilrig type work. Plug em and send them. So I should know betteer

 

When I worked in the Patch we had a seriously bad ass first aid kit. Morphine, the whole 9 yards. Couldn’t tell anyone injured that help was on the way cuz it wasn’t. No cell phones then just super shitty mobiles.

 

Yup. Bacially if we were called, someone was taking a bird out

 

I have always thought being on a search and rescue chopper or life flight would be a rewarding job.

 

I think I’ll stick to my machines. They cooperate better even when broken.

 

I looked into joing the coast gaurd for SAR. Met with the recruiter up my way. Was like a 2 year wait to get into that role. I passed

 

And I finally get to rip this KC box open. Hahaha. Was running a bit behind today

It paid well. Chicks dig it. Our airframes were pretty nice and I love aviation. The patients were usually sick and that created challenges that I appreciated... It was alright I guess.
