The short nipple ones come with a little plastic adapter thing that snaps onto the fumoto valve and allows easier attaching of a hose. That should be on their site too. The long nipple version just means you don’t need that little plastic piece.

I installed the longer nipple version because fumoto had a 50% off sale that Randy had linked some time back. I also to his recommendation and bought the plastic retainer that prevents the lever from moving. More of peace of mind that anything honestly. I never got a chance to use it though. My taco died before the first oil change with it

Cant decide 34 gallon fuel tank or bumper. Than which bumper front or rear. Than skids. Black friday sales is killing my wallet.

Long range 34 gallon fuel tank. Made for the hylux. Fits under the tacoma nicely.

Yes it is. Put a good skid under it and it will be fine.

Oh yeah I know. That thing is expensive!!!! I just don't like that it hangs pretty far down from the frame, but i like the idea of a larger fuel tank. I had one on my F350 it was 68 gal or something like that, increased my range to 1200 miles.

Last f350 i owned had 2 35 gallon tanks under it. But that was an 80s model. Never got close to that range.

Mine was a 99 with the 7.3 turbo. I had a 6 position tuner on it and lots of mods, with the fuel mileage tune I could get 22-24 mpgs. Those yrs only cab and chassis trucks had the option of dual tanks in the 450/550. So we had to get a bigger tank if we wanted the range. At that time I was hauling cars as a side gig.

Wallops Island is a fucking prison... every day I come into work a part of my soul dies. They are trying to run this like a ship more and more... Last time I checked, this was supposed to be shore duty.
