Mornin' How's the truck???

 

Water pump wasn't working well until 2500rpm. My buddy's changing the water pump, thermostat and doing a complete coolant flush since my truck is approaching 200k. No head issues/ cracked hoses or anything really. Some preventive maintenance. Should have the trucky back tomorrow morning.

 

You quoted Eddy so I was thinking you were either going to motor swap the Tacoma, build a buggy, or get yourself a press brake.

The thought of swapping the tacoma did cross my mind though. If I had the TIME something like that truck would of been a good donor for doing one.

 

Truggy Build is going to be done as soon as pops is ready to get rid of the 1st gen

 

They more than likely are hiring. But they pay crap for money now. I got a part time gig at Academy, I get to talk to people about guns and get paid $14/hr to do it. Plus the 20% off guns and ammo helps

 

Academy is an hour away from me.

 

i am going to smoke a small turkey on turkey day. did some ny strips on sunday for the wife's bday. they dont take long when you get the acorn up around 600 degrees. sear - release - turn - remove.
i used a bunch of lump apple wood then closed it up when i toot the steaks off now i have self made lump apple wood charcoal.

 

Hopefully they don't try to jerk you around with the scheduling like they did some people I know.
