It was scary, I just called the trucking company to report it and sent them the video.

Viofo A119S. Does a pretty good job for what it costs. I strongly encourage everyone to have a dash cam.

 

Recently put the same one in, and can vouch for the cost/quality of it.

 

I've been eyeing the set up @SearArtist has. It's pretty sweet.

 

I've got some really stupid shit I've encountered on the roads permanently saved...I'll have to upload them all to YouTube some time.

I would love to have one, but I decided not to since I run the bed bars / tent / soft topper and you can't really see much out the back window of that thing.

I want to run a dual channel but camper shell, not sure how effective it would be

 

I think I'll just run single tire blocks 1/3 the back view anyways. Plus getting rear ended there isn't much dispute of who's at fault.

 

And if that happens, you still get the 'bump' captured on the front cam.

 

And a HC rear bumper as long as it isn't totaled

 

My rear cam caught some jackass in my work parking lot opening their door onto my bedside...front cam would have never caught it...so, there are some practical uses for it.
