Pretty much stock with bald tires if I’m being completely honest. Mods installed include diff breather relocation, fog light anytime, and mud flap deletes (worried about damage from accidentally ripping them off wheeling). Mods in progress include rear view raise mod, gashole, lighted 4x4 selector, and waiting in my Cali raised trdpro grille. Pretty much all ascetics except for the diff breather (highly reccemended if your truck plays in puddles).

I wanted to hold off on getting tires in hopes I can convince the wife on a lift kit, but I don’t think that is happening this year. Given the tire situation, been debating duratrac’s or wildpeak at3’s at 265/75/r16.

Yeah, I gotta do that diff breather mod... I should probably do that before we go out this weekend...fuck.

I don't think I'm going to have time!

Takes 15 mins really, and I’m willing to help. Inexpensive insurance for clean diff fluid. The dealership around me had the parts the day after I ordered it; think they got me for about 20 bucks if I remember correctly. Just need some gas line from an auto shop, some hose clamps, Teflon tape, and a drill and wrenches. Heck, I got a 4 pack of hose clamps at the auto shop with my gas line, and only needed two. The two leftover are all yours if you want.

Easy enough to do before we hit the road in a parking lot? Hmmmm maybe I should...

Would a dealership give me shit if it's on a lease?

What I did was drilled a hole next to my gas fill for it. If it’s a lease, I’d reccemend just zip tying the breather and tube at a high location, maybe remove the cubbie in the bed for access to do this. That way no drilling, and when you give it back you can put the old breather in and they wouldn’t know. That’s how I would approach it, maybe others can chime in with their two cents.

Don't think they'd notice, to be honest. Mine is a lease...

I agree. Makes perfect sense. That way there is no "marks" on the truck that anything was done to it.

The breather just needs to be high enough so that water doesn't get in there.

I’d love to get my truck in there, but he took so many good shots. If it were open to vote, I’d be all for one of the group shots. He honestly killed it with his shots.

Thanks, no build thread. I did make a list of how much money I've wasted though

It's easy and quick...do you have the fittings I can help. We may see some water, not much though and according to the temps it's probably going to be ice.

What do you have for a lift and such? Curious to see how mine would stand next to yours.

No lift, just more aggressive tires. Don't even remember the size at this point

Yeah bald tires are no good for so many reasons, but especially this time of year.
That last snow storm we had I pulled an F-150 up a small hill.....bald tires:rofl:
    He felt silly.
    It was really slick though.

Definitely do, I know. Been mainly driving the wife’s outback because of the tire situation, and because we can commute together. Was really hoping on winning the lift conversation but I have bigger battles. Plus, she did let me get the gmc and plow this year so I feel happy with that win. The lift will happen, just a matter of when. I’ll probably be pulling the trigger on tires in the next week or two. Trying to finish Xmas shopping early so I can see how the funds are for tires..
