Those look like 4Runner wheels I have seen before. Look just like the sport, but solid color.

Yea, I'm tending to think his are just powdercoated. The ones from the 4Runner were I think for a limited and were a larger diameter. Also, he's got the OpenCountry wheels, which is what the Sport would have come with. Dealer version of a "blackout"? Wonder if in one of the mafias (GST/SET)...

I went the sticker route initially. Sadly, the color match was off. I liked the blank / no logo look, but got tired of the gray:

I don't know why I didn't think of it when I found out the badges popped off, but I painted them flat black and am now happy:

My hope is to derp, paint, or powder coat the wheels in the future.

I might start with derp just to do it and then get them PC'ed to last? The problem is getting the wheels off while it is getting done. Probably getting a second set would be easiest?

Did you plasti dip your grill? Looks good! I did all my chrome Tacoma badges with plasti dip and the V6 and it turned out good. Stuff is durable

    Yes, I did! Thanks!

It has done very well including automatic car wash brushes. Some grease did get on two spots from my grease guns in the summer heat. That caused small tears that have not gotten any bigger. I am thinking about getting the repair solvent from dipyourcar.com to fix those.

I actually like the cheese grater grille best, only with the chrome gone though.

Me too on the cheese grill! Without chrome. I really like my trucks look other than that. I’ve been wanting to plasti dip mine but haven’t had the time to get to it lately with work and kids being busy but I plan on it soon! Love the look

That is hilarious. I am only good with heat shrink when it comes to electrical connects, but always wanted to try the stuff. I finally picked up a spray can. As soon as it hit the wiring, I knew right away that it was the same stuff that I already had on the shelf.

I agree that the brush on would be good to touch ups.
