I tend to use my CAC and/or PIV depending on what I have at the time. Those never get me “randomly” screened from my experience.

I’m not biased or anything BUTTT Mobtown has the strongest bolt on sliders and are local enough for pick up. And 10% off right now.
PM wheelers offroad and see what kind of prices they’re doing. That’s who I buy my stuff from and this time last year they hooked me up.

I would be curious to see independant testing on armor to see who’s is the strogest. I saw some comparisons on youtube but nothing brand specific. Ofcourse they all want to claim the strongest but who really knows?

I just make the claim based on how it boxes the frame, where and how they gusset the legs, the diagonal leg on the back going from frame to kick out and the material used. There’s no real testing behind it but I’m confident it’ll hold up to the most brutal of wheeling.

No I had already planned on getting it bc I miss playing Madden. Then I watched some of the videos of red dead redemption and decided I want that too.

Oh I’m not disputing any of it. Manufacturers always want to make their product out to be the strongest on the market . I would just be curious to see real testing results. At any rate all armor is stronger than what the trucks came with and, to me, perhaps the best investment that could be made for the truck

Ok so I'm looking for some feedback on my planned lift. I'm looking to pick this stuff up on Black Friday and want to make sure I don't miss anything.

I already ordered the ECGS bushing and tools.

I'm planning on lifting the truck 2 inches to start since I'm still on my stock tires. I also want to get my wife use to the 2 inch lift and crank it up to 3 inches once I get new tires.....probably next black friday.

    King 25001-119-EXT Fronts
    Bilstein rear 5160
Icon MULTI-RATE RXT LEAF SPRING KIT FOR 2005+ TACOMA (51101)
WHE U-BOLT FLIP KIT + Superbumps
Extended brake lines front and rear (I don't really need these yet but they are 50% off now)
Free spanner wrench, free front superbumps
    3 degree rear shim.

Once I'm ready to bump up to 3" lift, I'd sell the Bilstein 5160s and replace with King rear 121-EXT and add the provided leaf in the Icon leaf pack.

Am I missing anything? I already have SPC UCAs. Thanks for the feedback!

If I get the Dakars can I easily go from 2" to 3"? I saw that the Icons ride a little softer if you're not holding a ton of weight in the rear.

they will only give you a 2 inch lift. But if you do a 3-inch lift in the front you only really want a 2 inch lift in the rear. So that you can be level. They are also MUCH cheaper

Why do you want to be level? Pickup trucks have a rake for a reason.

The ICONS are 15% off for black friday also. Which means they are closer to the price of dakars.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that whole reason negated in our use of our trucks?
