60990 as I pulled into work this a.m. I've only had it for a little over 2 months and 2,000 miles of that total.

I've had my 2008 Tacoma for 9 months. I just hit 21,000 miles without any problems to date. I drive a lot of highway miles so the only issue so far is cleaning all the bugs off the front end. I hate bugs!

I owned a 1999 Tacoma before this one and put just over 205,000 miles on it. The only problem I had was a new starter around 125,000.

    I'm sold on Tacoma's.

26000 only problem was rusty bolts on wind deflector.Lucky for Toyota the rust came off of the paint.Totally unacceptible unpainted bolts !

Mine will be a year old in 2 weeks...just under 13000 miles. My Dunlops are out of round and I'm taking it to the dealer for new tires next week, then the TSB for suspension since I haul a quad. No problems with the truck though :D.

Is yours a 2.7/5spd?? Mine sounds like a diesel when idleing sometimes too.

5 month old truck with 17,000+ miles on it and my only problem is the weak rear springs.

Early model, bought Dec 2004. 37K.

Been to dealer once. Bought spark plugs, six pack of oil filters, and had the rear leaf spring TSB done. Otherwise frame a bit rusty due to harsh winters. Need to undercoat the frame this fall, should last me a good decade.
