I was about to post "how is he sitting with the common folks.. he has to be worth ### million dollars!"

But in my research to figure out the number I found that he's got less money than me.

It's AMAZING to me how people can blow that much money. I read that he won over $230 million in fight prize money alone.

 

Yeah, and he has like 11 or 13 kids from 6 different women or something, all with the same initials (i think three of them are named Elijah). He looked like he had taken a few too many shots to the head, and I'm sure most of yall saw him on gameday down in Jacksonville.

I was just ranting a little bit because they have always been the big guys on the block for the last few years (or more). Maybe the Tigers will give them a good challenge on 1/7/19.

HAHAHA. I know. I think Clemson was suffering from the "We've made it" mindset.

The Clemson team that beat Bama was fired up. That defense was playing out of their minds that night.

 

Nice play! Well thought out too. I agree with meeting Bama in the Title game, otherwise the Semi will really be the title game.

I think Clemson wins it this year. I've thought so since beating Texas A&M. There's something different about Dabo players. My .02

 

I’ve been telling people at work and church for weeks that I believe this is Clemson’s year and I believe Clemson will beat Bama if they face in the championship. Everyone just laughs at me. I guess time will tell as we wait to see how things play out. Still two weeks of ball to decide the playoffs.
Other than that go DAWGS-Georgia that is.

Alabama's defense has really straightened up here lately. Regressed for Citadel, but they are looking much better than at the first of the year. I think Clemson could have beaten Alabama earlier in the year, for that reason alone. Now I think it'd be a much better game.

 

I want Alabama to play ND in the worst way. (I think I've probably posted that 20 times in here already.)

If it takes Clemson jumping us to #1, that's fine with me.

It won't happen, though. Assuming we beat auburn and beat UGA, they won't jump Clemson over us for beating USCe and Pitt unless Clemson beats Pitt by 70 points and we struggle to beat UGA (which, I suppose, could happen).

 

I'm a bammer and we still have to get there first, but put me on record for Bama beating Clemson by 17 or more. Just looking over Clemson's schedule (b/c I couldn't remember who they were going to play for the ACC) and I don't see any evidence that they could hang with another elite team.

The most impressive win is a 2pt win over TAMU, and next is a 4pt win over Syracuse?

I'm not trying to be a d!ck or anything. I'm just not seeing it.

Could it, though?

Clemson played Cuse with their 3rd string QB. Cuse was a halfway decent team this year. I know ND killed them, but Cuse’s QB went out in, what, the first quarter? I think a Clemson/Bama game is a 14 point game, but only because Trevor Lawrence hasn’t seen anything on defense like what he could see From bama. He does go against his own D every day at practice, which is loaded with NFL talent, so maybe I’m wrong and he doesn’t get rattled. I’d like to see it. In the semifinals. And another bama/UGA national championship

 

That part could certainly happen... the "could it" was that happening AND Clemson smoking Pitt.
