    That's the point! LOL

I went 10 plus years straight without seeing snow. Then moved back here in fall of 08...

Went back to Texas, then came back(work/money)....

It's great, pull up on the beach in January, let the dog have some freedom, pull out the poles, and do some surf fishing.. maybe have a fire if it's cool out....

I like the winter, but at a certain point I get sick of cleaning up the snow and wish I could just play in it all day.

I have some Tubbs I got a couple years ago when I moved back. I use them almost daily when we have snow up here to walk around. The ones I have use that new twist tight system, which I absolutely love. Makes getting in and out of the snowshoes a 10 second or less process, used to be an PIA on some of the older pairs. Also made out of the plastic/composite and very light. My FIL swears by the old huge ones and I know they do work, but I like the newer styles myself.

It's great, and if the binding starts to feel loose, you bend down, twist it once or twice and then keep going tight as can be. So convenient.

To your last point, if you want to pull up to a beach in January to let the dog have some freedom (and a fire to keep warm), New England beaches are the place to be! I can promise you, you won't have trouble finding a spot on the beach up here in January! I also have a Lab so he's not scared away from the water being a little chilly.

I bought some stuff from 12volt.solutions and they offered me a discount code toward me next purchase. They sell plug and play remote start kits. Since I already have their kit, I'm not going to buy another one... If anyone wants the discount code, please let me know. I'm pretty sure it's a one time use sort of thing so first come, first served (PM me). Please, just take a look at what they sell and make sure they have what you want before taking the code, I'd hate to see it go to waste. The code is for 10% off and expires 12/3.

A guy I work with has a Sno Way on his truck (a 2500, of all things :der: ) and he's had good luck with it. One bad solenoid in the 4 years or so that he's had it, and he bought the truck used with it already installed.

They have a good reputation. They aren't cheap but none of them seem to be.

That's a monster buck. Looks like they took advantage of that good snow too. I haven't seen much this year but it's my first season bow hunting in MA so I am probably not doing all the right things.

Probably been feeding him pine apples all autumn to make sure he showed up on opening day, too.

I went to FW Webb and asked if I could just get the head . They said I couldn’t because it’s an older model. The newer one you can. So I ended up buying a new one for $112. It looks upon closer examination that you can remove the head butyou got to take the whole thing apart to do it. When I go on break at 5:30 I will take a picture to see what you think or others as well. Looks like there are four nuts on the corners under the box the head is mounted on.
If that is the case can’t help but think that I was talked into buying a more expensive item.
I was in a hurry to go to work so I bought it
