It also looks like you are trying too hard to get details in the shadows. Since you were shooting straight toward the sun I’m guessing the shadows were probably pretty dark in the original. If you tweak darkened shadows hard enough you can see details in them, but then the whole thing looks forced and unnatural.

 

Your oranges are too orange, your greens are too green and your blues are too blue. All in all, it's a great photo!

See here is the thing. I am trying to challenge myself to prove a point in Rahls favor. Lol. I am restricting myself to only phone camera and phone stock editing software. So between not really having to tools I need, I also have to try and judge the colors, shadows, highlights ect on a phone screen. So I cant really tell when it's too blue. Or blown out ...So

Do you have your Blue Light filter on? If you don't, you probably should. The Blue Light filter will help you see true colors.

 

I do not. No. Didn't know I had that option. Not super savvy with phones since I get a new one every other day it seems

 

Should be in your display settings.

 

I really held back the urge to keep editing this one... so I slightly tweaked it. Hope you approve

Btw I know the shadows to the right look blue.. but there was snow in the shadows and I didn't want to overdo it again

 

This looks the best. Even the shadow in the bottom right looks correct. Do you have a tripod for your Note8?

 

I have one but I didn't take it with me. Wanted it to be the general phone photo takers setup for these pics. And most people using their phone for photography dont have a tripod with them

 

Ah come on, what's a good mile, 4 min and change, for you 10 for the two, and back, 20 min total, not far at all, haha

 

If you think I can run a single mile in under 8 minutes, you are highly delusional.

 

You can damn near walk a mile in 8 mins...
