There are many opinions on the subject of CAI's. Many of those opinions are from those who don't have them. I would like to see pics of them and user comments.

There are dyno runs on here that show the performance of stock, CAI installed and with no filter. Good luck. I have run different intakes in the past.

I've got a TRD CAI, I like it, but picked up an RK sport hood a while back so eventually I'll buy one I can use to ram air this hotrod.

I have the TRD Pro intake. It made zero difference in performance, little to no difference in noise (I can't hear a difference), however, it improved the underhood aesthetic, if that's what you're going after.

I installed the TRD Pro CAI and the Pro cat back exhaust, the CAI coupled with the pro exhaust has made a significant change in performance and sound, IMO.

Here's the review from when I got mine originally. Still have it, still like it just the same.

Favorite quote from your review :D:

“Throttle response seems improved, but itmight be due to growling sound.”

Thanks for the post. I’m looking forward to getting mine.

 thanks! I mean it's an intake. Sounds cool, but you're not going to see a crazy difference. As long as people are realistic with those expectations they will be very happy. I enjoy having mine and having a washable filter is nice in the long run.
