Voodoo Blue thread, Let's see yours!

They are vinyls, found a guy on eBay that was selling the grille vinyls but didn’t have the voodoo blue color listed so I emailed him and asked about it. End up getting a package for them guy in the voodoo blue color for free basically, just had to send him some pictures afterwards. End up doing the door sills and tailgate handles as well. I’m pretty happy how the color match.

Looks neat! I'd probably only take the door sills though, I like the blue to black ratio just like it is now.

 

The dealer called me this morning with an update. My order has been confirmed by Toyota and my delivery date is set for January 18! Can’t wait to get mine!

 

Congrats what date did you order it? I am still waiting for a build date and ETA.

 

I ordered it on 10/17. I was really surprised to hear from them so soon since they told me 3-6 months. Kind of expected it to be closer to 4 or 5. The sales guy was a little surprised too I think.

Picked up my Voodoo Blue TRD this weekend from Toyota of Keene NH.

 

Yeah my MT 2019 should be delivered sometime in Jan/Feb.

 

Never “ordered” a vehicle before. Not sure I could stand the wait.

What a fun day when it arrives though.

 

Honestly not bad waiting. It gives me lots of time to save up for and research mods before I make a decision on exactly what I want. Doing the research is nice to do way before I pull the trigger.

This isn't my first custom ordered vehicle either so I am familiar with the wait.

I could have purchased 3 Voodoo Blue auto trans tacos at local dealerships already. lol the manual transmission wait struggle is real!

 

Finally picked up mine on Saturday (it was delivered to my dealer 3 weeks ago)



Wasted no time taking it away from asphalt on my trek throughout the Pacific Northwest and back down to Los Angeles

Mine was supposed to arrive in January. Today I stumbled across this one listed at another dealer across town. Manual transmission and listed at MSRP.....so I went and got it.

Thanks! I think I just got super lucky. It definitely wasn’t listed yesterday and they didn’t have any pictures on the autotrader post. I called them to make sure it was real and when they sent me the window sticker I put a deposit down. They’ve got the same one in an automatic sitting on the lot. Sales guy claimed they both came in this week and they’re the only two allocated for Texas in the next 60 days. I don’t know how much of that is true but that’s what he said anyway.
