I didn’t on my first gen. They inspected it and it passed. They wanted to spray it and I declined.

They enter it in the computer system that I declined, so I suppose I gave up any warranty that came with the undercoating.

As of November 20th, 2018, my Tacoma only has two things wrong with it!

The first issue is that my left parking light seems to have burned out...

    IMG_0282.jpg

The right headlight, as it should be; The right parking light does go out from time to time, but a little bit of percussive maintenance fixes it in seconds...

    IMG_0283.jpg

My truck passed state inspection with flying colors last October, and my headlights and turn signals are working fine, so I'll worry about this later...

And then my goddamn rear bumper keeps coming apart, all thanks to the drunk fucking scumbag who hit my truck with his Mercedes three years ago...

The least they could have done was permanently revoked his license...

Are the headlights one piece or can the bulbs be replaced individually?

    Thank Christ!

I was once quoted $360 per headlight from the dealer!

On a more important note, can I get pulled over for this? My truck just passed state inspection last month and I'm very busy with work. I have better things to be doing right now than replacing a light bulb, but if it'll make my truck a target for bored suburban cops I'll fix it ASAP.

I mean no offense but..with the 15,000+ messages I would figure you’d know the basics/fundamentals in removing and replacing common items.

Can’t tell if this is a troll thread:anonymous:

You absolutely can. Failure to maintain your vehicle in proper working order. You can revive a fix it citation as well.

Sorry, I had it messed up. No you can’t. For some reason I thought it was your headlight we were speaking about. My bad. The parking light is essentially useless when it comes to night time driving. As long as your headlights, tail lights, and signals work you’re fine.

The parking light will just be an annoyance to have one off and one off when the DRL’s are on.

Okay good. If my headlight was out I'd be pulling that and replacing it immediately.

I work at a bar as a barback (one of two jobs; I detail cars at a dealership as well). Thanksgiving Eve is the biggest drinking night of the year and I'm gonna be working a long shift tomorrow. The last thing I need is a reason for cops to pull me over on the drive home at 3am and ask if I've been drinking.
