Agreed. I'm looking for a bolt up solution, esp not looking to mess with the cat pipes (mids?).

Maybe pics would help. I was also hoping for a no drone solution with an axle dump. Trade offs are understandable though.

Might just go with a cheap reroute and a test section for different mufflers?

Looks to be around 1600.00 for the works in stainless...
    Plus 300.00 for cats...

Looks like the cheapest route would be to have the stock mid pipe modified and get aluminized steel for the rest at about 880.00
Could be a good option if sounds good and helps low end torque...

We do plan to offer some sort of an exchange program. As of now we don’t have a stock core to start with. All of the sections work together. The only section that is optional is the helmholtz resonator section.

This is definitely a hurdle some guys may not like. But if we keep the stock mid pipes and y pipe in place the truck sounds like a tractor and there is far less low end torque.

So if you modify our stock mids and use your y pipes is there still a torque gain... comparable to using your midpipe as well.,?

    Thanks!

I'd be fun to talk about all this and how it works. Maybe a road trip someday.

Myself, I have only heard one bad sounding 2nd or 3rd Gen. It must have been a straight piped Pro? Otherwise, I don't have a reference for the tractor sound.

Well I’m out. 1600+ for a cat back is what folks with corvettes pay.

Also 409 SS isn’t that expensive unless the tariffs have really spiked prices. I haven’t checked lately. I would never consider aluminzed at the prices you’re charging. If you’re using 304 that’s overkill.

You’re really limiting your customer base here by requiring the midpipes. Most simply want a y-pipe reroute and maybe muffler. The helmholtz resonator will resolve any drone issues.

Looks like URD y-pipe is my only option.

Good luck and hopefully you reconsider.

Do you have any performance numbers? I completely understand the price for a (nearly) full exhaust, but I can’t see myself dropping almost 1600 before shipping for something that I don’t know how it will perform. You know?

Yessir. There is no benefit from one over the other. It’s jist a matter of cost or convenience.

I personally would use our mid pipes so that you can keep all your stock stuff. Then when you sell or trade in your truck you can put it back to stock and sell your Bamufflers system.

But if you’re keeping your truck forever using your stock mid pipes will save you about $500

The part that gets rerouted is the mid pipe no? Not sure what else to do here. We can make a super easy bolt on after the y pipe. But low end suffers using the factory junk.

This might be where pics (OEM and post-mod) might help?

I believe that the earlier description was that the cat pipes were the mids. The crossover was the Y pipe. Muffler aft of that. Now, we know the resonator is in the Tail pipe?

How would emissions be affected by the cats you put in place of the stock?

The first set of cats, which are monitored by the ecu with o2 sensors, stay in place. And since most emissions testing is simply to see if cats are in place and see that there is no check engine light everyone in America should be in the clear (check your local laws). Everyone in California would have to have us modify their mid pipe which is legal since it’s after the cats and not before.

We can turn around the mid pipes same day. Biggest wait is shipping time. We don’t do installs. But my buddy in Escondido does. On point automotive.

Looking forward to the photos and performance numbers!

$1890 with the ceramic cats, though? Holy hell... Porsche called, they want their exhaust prices back. :help:

can we get some decibel measurements from inside the cab at freeway speeds/acceleration, with straight pipe and Helmholtz? At some point? Biggest thing is what it takes to keep the freeway driving close to stock...
