    My 99 doesn't have any bump stops in the back, it also doesn't blow shocks.

    Nice nice, I'm sure it's probably in better shape than mine. Right now I have a lot of slop in my steering wheel, at highway speeds its sketchy. And when hitting a pothole or something similar at about 30 - 40 mph the front end kind of shimmies. I'm thinking tie rods? Although I had one side replaced after the truck got hit
    Any ideas?

    And has winter


    Moving to Texas is like being in California, weather wise and has cheaper gas, win win for Californians

    Have thought about moving to Texas, similar culture to the parts of California I like.
    The cheapest gas I can find is $3.30. And it just came down from about 3.50

    Could be the tie rods but it could also be your LBJs - if they're in bad shape and have lots of play they'll make your steering sloppy.

    Both are fairly easy to check, if you YouTube it you can probably find @Timmah! 's videos on both
