Jim it was great that you came out with us. Watching you just motor through everything was a site to see. Especially in the rock garden, you just didnt even really slow down at all and plowed on through, like you were going over speed bumps.

That pic looks almost as extreme as it felt - I lost my breath for a few seconds until the truck stopped teetering. I should have probably gone with you guys on FB 5 to calm down! So glad we can all laugh at it.

Thanks. I like how your truck turned out with the new bumper and tires. How much would it be for the bumper, fog cut outs, sides shortened, shackle mounts, and top tube? Extra special deal for me? I can hook you up with some flares like mine. I already found some 35" km2's that I'll be purchasing. I wish I could have stayed longer but my girlfriend (not wife, yet) and I planned some time to hang out on the beach.

I manged to dent my door slightly and rub the paint off my door handle. Took about 1/16 inch of aluminum off the lip of my wheel all the way around. Put a nice dent in my skid plate near the transmission cross member (about a foot wide and an inch deep), I'll just pound that out with a sledge and touch it up with paint.

Being dead tired on a Sunday and hating the thought of pavement on Monday... it's how you know you had a good weekend.

I am SOOOOOO sad right now. I live so close and wanted to be there. The weather looks awesome, and the wheeling looked even better.

Alas, work had to come first. I was in Grants Pass from Thursday through last night installing some new storage gear. If any of you are students at Rogue Community College, your disk access will be much faster, and more available, so you can save thee pics in this thread and keep them forever!

I will be up by Odell lake next week at our fishing cabin. If any of you are out and about, I am willing to hook up and meet.

Looks like you all had fun, and I really wish I could have been there.

    James

It definitely too bad neither of you made it. It was a great trip, but having a few more would have made it even better. More trips need to be arranged in the future, no doubt!

How do you like the tent? do you still have storage room in the bed when things are all folded up?

Love the tent. Best camping purchase I made along with the ARB Fridge. The tent is more comfortable than my bed. I have the tent mounted on a rack above the bed and have a aluminum rolling cover so I still have all the room in my bed. With the tent open I can still reach anything I need in the bed. The cover keeps everything secure and dry.

trip looks like it was a blast! wish i could have gone, maybe next time..

however, my truck is pretty much bone stock, aside from A/T KOs, and i noticed that pretty much everyone has trail armor, am i going to want to get sliders at minimum? whats the likelihood that ill mess my ride up going through the trails (no dents on her yet, kinda scared to get my first...lol)

Yeah, I'd probably say sliders are a minimum, and especially if you arent lifted. And a bit of rock rash on the wheels is a good possibility as well.
