LA fires have taken out a lot of their infrastructure is what I was told last weekend in a store. Not sure what the timeline is for getting them back up. LA has been hit really hard by these fires.

A few days after the fire started I went to return an item and the person at the register said returns couldn't be processed at their Calabasas, California headquarters, but when I went back last weekend they were able to make the return.

Man I've gotten so much crap from Harbor Freight since the last time I posted in here. Only thing I was disappointed with recently was their hole saw kit...the Carbonite one I think it was. Couldn't cut through my fender for the snorkel install, so I went to Home Depot and bought a Milwaukee hole saw - cut right through like a hot knife through butter.

Really like their heavy duty Chicago drill, used it a few times for some smallish jobs but can't go wrong for $20 or so.

Are those cutting discs/flap wheels any good? I remember reading a lot of bad reviews about them before all the rebranding. Maybe they changed them.

As for the exchanging your welder, IDGAF. While Im not one to normally work the system, it is a system after all and if your okay with it, go for it.

Being from Camarillo where their main distribution hub is, and also being up in around westlake for work where their corporate offices are.... Camarillo was essentially cut off from major freeway access for a bit due to fires, so was westlake for quite some time longer. Westlake and surrounding areas were also evacuated completely, the ENTIRE area (camarillo, moorpark, Thousand oaks, westlake etc etc) lost ALL internet connectivity due to a major frontier fiber backbone being torched... We are just now returning to normalcy in the area. Needless to say, it has been quite chaotic around here over the last 2 weeks, starting with the tragic Mass shooting at borderline (a place i have frequented) then multiple fires on top of it all....

Yeah I got a few things from the local Harbor Freight in Pasadena and they couldn't run debit\credit cards because of the fire near corporate

Same experience with the hole saw kit. Only good for wood or plastic.

yeah I was disappointed since it says right on the box that it will cut sheet metal, but I guess they had pretty thin sheet metal in mind.

The hercules disks are way better than the warrior ones. Maybe 300% better. Same goes to the grinding wheel.

Guess Im not the only one that thinks its wrong to bring a working machine back just because one can. It's individuals like him that ruin it for everyone else. Bet he does the same sh*t with light bulbs, in go the new and the old burned out ones get returned.

Yeah that welder works great for me. 220V with gas too. I've never used it on 110 or flux core. At least not yet.

Not sure why you pretend that your posts with this type of behavior don’t get you the same response from the others every time.

You can do what fits your moral compass, but when you share it, that choice/scheme seems to be consistently unpopular here.

Any of you have this? Looks tempting. Easier than one side at a time. Curious if this + a set of jack stands is all I need to do my suspension swap.

    Stuff. Also things.
Thinking about grabbing one of these for the garage since it’s corded. Good torque numbers and good reviews, so it seems like a good buy.

Anyone here using one? I’m also looking at saving up for one of these for the truck tool kit:
