Thanks man but with the holidays it'll probably take a week to get here lol. Of course I ask the parts guy when they can get me one, thinking it would be later today, and he says it will be Tuesday at the earliest. WTF? So if someone comes in for a basic drain & fill and needs a new plug for whatever reason, you're going to hold their truck until Tuesday for a drain plug? jesus.

anyway I'm going to call around some more and see if maybe an AutoZone or Napa within 10 miles has it

I'll have to double check but I've never had an issue with my sliders hitting the pinch weld...mine are welded on which I know means they flex less than bolt ons. Buddy of mine has bolt ons and any time he lands hard on them, or uses his hi lift, they block his door from opening and he has to jump on and down on them for a few minutes lol.

Or tuck them high so it has less a chance of getting caught on things and also looks better. Only sacrificeis you Just have to trim the pinch weld.

Mine are bolt on. I designed the mounts with pretty exact tolerances so the bolts sit on top of the frame rail, they cant move up or down. Theyve always touched the pinch weld but didnt start making noise until after I went wheeling. Guess it gave the body mount bushings a work out lol and theyve been softer or something ever since to allow the body to move more.

tires can be cheap....if you buy cheap tires. Or used/retreads or the like. But yeah tires are easily one of the most costly recurring expenses I've had. Gone through 3 sets in the 2 1/2 years I've had my truck lol. To be fair both the previous sets had life left in them but I wanted to go up a size.
