hey everyone so my wife wants to drive our new taco but she’s short 5’3 and can’t see over the hood scoop. I can’t seem to find the height adjustment lever. Am I going crazy or is there not a way you can raise or lower the seat. All help is welcomed.

    Happy holidays

No height adjustment, you could always get a Tacoma model without a scoop.

That’s what I thought. The hood scoop is staying she’ll just have to get a pillow or something

Seat Spacers, like mentioned in Post #2 will do. This will not help you if you're already 6'4"...

Lift the rear 6 inches and drop the front
2 inches and she should be able to see.
Not only that, it will look good. LOL

I'm pretty sure you can cut that scoop out with a saw. Shouldn't affect warranty as it is non funtional.

My wife is 5' 4 and does not enjoy the skewp. Interferes with her line of sight. Have debated about replacing. Silliness on Toyota's part to bend up metal needlessly.

My daughter with her permit and wife don't like it either. The couple times that they drove it, they had no issues.

I don't mind either way, but would consider a swap just to shut them up.
