What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

It's not every day you get to see your suspension in full droop. That IFS is really struggling. Lol

 

Unbolted my slider and bent my pinch weld away from it. I bent the parts that go over the mounts more which involved using a sawzall to notch them a bit. This should cure one of my latest annoyances.
Did the other side a few months ago. This side only recently started to make noise.

Oh Yeah...I went to home Depto and got teh GY6.35 bulbs to do the Bright Reverse light mod....These bulb are equal to the headlamp bulbs at a fraction of the price

Figure why spend over a hundred bucks on floor mats when you can replace the entire carpet kit with a vinyl kit for $133.75

I THINK you have to cut all the holes yourself

 

I wouldn't be worried about that as long as its molded to fit all the humps etc.

 

Does it have all the mass backing on it? Helps with noise insulation and heat retention.

 

I just didn't know if you knew that. I know someone's used something like that, can't remember who though.

I'm digging the peace and quiet so far. Even when I had it tied down in the bed it would rattle enough to be annoying

 

Mine is bolted to my bed rack but it still rattles like crazy...I have probably 5 zip ties on different parts of it to keep it quiet lol
