I have had it for a few months now, I actually run a few degrees cooler than with the stock grill so airflow is not an issue

Got the new grille installed today. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Definitely looks a lot better than stock!


Anyone have any recommendations for touch-up paint? I chipped some of the paint off the bolts when I was attaching the mounting hardware. You can barely tell but I'd like to touch it up.

 

Are these still for sale for 06 taco?

 

@Smoothsurf Yes, still available on his website. I just bought one for my 2015 and the 05-11 were still available with either the Toyota font or Tacoma font. Your choice.

 

Any chance of a black Friday sale this year? This looks super legit and better than the options I've found on Ebay, but slightly over my winter makeover budget plans.

 

@taccatruck For a 2nd gen? Not likely. He said he stopped manufacturing them because they dont sell very well. I guess most aftermarket support and consuners are 3rd gen.

How things have changed. Up until 2016-2017 all the support was for 2nd gens. I guess companies took notice a lot of costumers buying the 3rd gen and followed the money. I was able to get one off of him, but since he stopped producing them, he had to make 1 for me from scratch. Paid $280 which was a little more than they were listed for beforehand because of the special order, but i think it was worth it.

just in general. I would like to you see your setup if you are ok sharing. My Son and I are working on his truck and just from the front your truck looks pretty cool.
