Friends or not roommates suck

 

This is true, but single family homes appreciate faster than condos or smaller homes in my area and I live in one of the most expensive regions in the US.

 

Roommates = best of Times/worst of times.

Had a roommate once, and once was enough.

 

This will be an unpopular opinion, but I think the housing market is fucked in every which way. We learned pretty much nothing from 2008. I have a friend that owns a house in the PNW that's gone up $70k in 14 months. Where is the money coming from? Is everyone in tech/healthcare making $150-$250k a year?

 

My roommate couldn't come up with his half of rent or utilities. I couldn't legally lock him out, but let's just say when I left for work there was no electricity, phone, internet, gas, hot water, etc....

If I had it I wouldn't worry about taxes I just pay I'm off be done with it and collect more money from wherever that money that I don't "need" is coming from.

I have a lot of potential tenants for my two nicest houses, and a lot of them work for the huge hospital up here. Lowest income I saw was 138k/year for a radiology manager.

Fucking insane. I bet tech is worse.

 

That was the field I had planned on going into. Radiology. Rad Tech rather. But life got in the way and I went the sales route instead

I sold Toyotas for several years, then Hondas because I like a challenge... then jumped over into the Medical supply market. As well as industrial supplies. (gas supply holds true in both arenas)

 

I do industrial supply sales myself.
