Noticed this today while I was under my truck. Anyone done lower ball joints on a 2nd gen? Do yall think these still have some life in them? I was under it about 5k miles ago and didnt notice them leaking. I'm in TN at the moment and wont be able to do anything about them until I drive back to SC this weekend.

That's nothing. Mine have looked like this for months. I need to do it but I hear it is a collosal pain unless you do the whole LCA, which is also a pain because my cam bolts are seized. I have no play of anything so I am some what comfortable leaving them for a bit longer.
    Sorry for the terrible pic

I hope that the paint and stuff turns out well. Sucks I know the feeling recently so glad to have my girl back. I missed all the squeaks, rattles, and driveshaft vibrations.

I gotta clean the smoker tomorrow. It sat out uncovered and with the top vent open when we had the storms recently and the bottom got flooded with coals and ash sitting in it. Too bad losing all that flavor and seasoning, but I'll be building it right back up smoking a turkey.

Yep, it's going to go in the brine tonight. Straight kosher and pink salt blend, and water, though.

Guy told me yesterday he was going to do a brine on his bird and they hadn't even thawed it out yet. They were also going to deep fry for the first time this yr. I started laughing, told him he should of made a rub and injected the bird and he should of thawed it over the weekend and made sure that thing was dry as can be before it hits the oil. He asked me why. I said pour a teaspoon of water into frying oil once it's up to temp and you'll see.

That's kinda how I check my oil to see if it's ready for deep frying wings, but not a whole whole spoon full. That's asking for trouble.

I just get my hand wet and flick most of the water off so only a drop or 2 hits the oil. When doing a fish fry or frying a bird I have a big propane burner and a pot large enough to do a 20lb bird so I use a thermometer which the lid has a notch to hold it.

Same. I just get my finger tip wet and flick it in the oil.

I do a lot of pan frying in the house with my cast iron pans and pots. Those things work so well at getting and keeping the oil at the perfect temp.

yep, it’s how i bought the RideRite bags for my pile. Technically “open box” the only thing wrong was the box had gotten wet. everything was there, box burned well when done installing.....

it’s a risk, but it’s still, coming from a seller that needs to stay in Amazons graces..... can only be so much wrong....

I bought textbooks when I went back to school from them used and their used vs the college bookstore used were like brand new. Nothing other than that. I would assume it's safer than Ebay and I've bought all sorts of things off Ebay used with success.
