Hey guys, the info you guys have on here is amazing. I hope I can get some good ideas and some help with my dilemma. I set back $1500 for some mods and upgrades for my taco. The thing is, I am driving myself crazy going over what to purchase. I cant afford to set up an offroad monster so, I am looking for the best bang for your buck. Can you help me?

I plan on doing any installs myself to save some bucks
I am wanting to help its off road capabilities.
I was thinking about 5100 all around with 2.5 up front and a 1.5 aal My math has that running around +/- $500 with alignment and all.
Next i was thinking grill craft with lights behind it, then leaning towards a westin brush guard, but cant decide, want an all pro but that's tapping the bank.
then may be a tool box for storage with a jack and straps.

Any advice would help, I am certain I am not the first with this problem.
I only hope I can learn from you.

Should I spend more on lift........ OMG, I could go on and on.
thanks everyone for all you help:confused:.

I say definitley go with 5100's all around, then some A/T's or Muds. There you go. money spent.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
just a word of advice....if you are going for "offroad capability," save the money from brush guard. brush guard will lessen your approach angles. if you want something to mount lights and/or protection for somewhat cheap, get the avid offroad light bar. looks nice, offers protection and light points, and hangs tight to the bumper

Get some Total Chaos Upper Control Arms, 5100's and get your TSB Springs done at the Dealer. (Does the 2010 apply for TSB springs?) If not Get an AAL.

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
While the 5100's are nice, now that I have them I really want some coils and upper arms. I would consider the icon coilovers and know that they will last. just my .02

Your choices sound logical. Talk to some of the other truck owners where you drive and get their opinions. Set it up for where you plan to be driving.
