Stupid people are out driving right now , someone just attempted a lane change into the d/side of my truck . I thought the F****** idiot was going to hit me it was that close !!

I made sure this idiot new what he did so I gave them a one fingered wave followed by flashing my headlights and laying on the horn . I was thinking of following this idiot but it wasn't worth it

This is the 2nd time in just a couple months someone has tried this on the same section of road !!!

That would be a hard one for me. I like spiral cut hams but always smoked them. And being spiral cut means it has bone in. Only time I have done a ham in the IP is just the bone after the fact to make ham bone soup. Last couple of years have even gone back to Hormel Cure 81 boneless hams with a glaze, again on the smoker.

If it was me for Thanksgiving and with family I'd be tempted to do it in the oven if I didn't do it on the smoker. Sorry not much help on that one.

I got a "free" turkey with my Hormel Cure 81 ham this year and will be doing the ham on the smoker this weekend. Deconstructed the turkey tonight so that I will do just the breast in the oven for the sons and one of their girlfriends tomorrow. Took the thighs and legs and did them in the IP with carrots, onion, and celery with some apple cider for me though.

    ip dark done.jpg

Then pulled the meat off HP 25 min. 15 min. natural release. I just need to warm up it up in the oven tomorrow when the breast is almost done.

    dark meat done store.jpg

Everything else including giblets and bones are in the all clad stockpot on the stove. Will simmer it all night for stock tomorrow for gravy and cornbread stuffing. And freeze the leftover in mason jars. Poor Nova has piles of drool in the kitchen. The smell is almost enough to make me drool also.

    stock pot night begin.jpg

Come January and maybe even February I will be heading South for a week at the least. Been checking out Sporting Clay ranges and places to stay. South East Az. is where I am focusing right now but Texas is not out of the question...

Erhh I don't think leopard frogs are supposed to be black when they hibernate :p Normally being buried deep in the mud is what protects them, or at least some faint memory from HS biology tells me. But you never know until you try it!
