That's something I would like to do more of. I've got a big old cast iron skillet from my grandmother in-law and we've only ever used it for cooking when camping. I've got my eye on a good size Dutch oven that I want to make a big chili in for the next meet (ain't making anymore damn sweet potatoes for meets lol). It's the 12 qt one.

I haven't bought a single piece of new cast iron. I was given a nice grill style one that does ok. I like the old stuff to me it works a lot better. The insides are smooth and work better IMO. The newest piece I own is from 1920s most of it is late 1800s. Go digging around flea markets, garage sales, etc you'll find some really good deals and they are worth some coin.

Edit: also those try legs aren't good for anything but cooking on a fire or charcoal even at that I much prefer the smooth bottom you get better heat dispersion IMO
I do 99% of my cooking in cast iron so I've gotta have smooth bottom pots and pans.

Anyone with charter ever have a cable box shit the bed? Mine will power on but then the blue light goes off and no power.
Wonder if these bitches are gonna charge me for another box. It's the tiny black one.

The one downstairs is the size of 2, mid 90's vcr's. Probably should turn it in as well.

I cant recall. The thickest that the sheet metal shop had on hand at the time. Likely .050 or .062.

We had a Dutch oven with the scouts. Cobblers, soups, all kinds of things.

    Those were the best!

We also did a whole turkey in a Tin foil teepee. Took hours to smoke it but it was delicious

The back of the truck will be completely brand new. Everything replaced so that paint should all match. Should be
interesting to see how it looks against the cab in different angles of light. :fingerscrossed:

I made a really good Prime rib foil pack at AOAA. I love dutch oven cooking over a fire as long as I have the time.

State Farm better or I will go find a attorney that specialized in getting a check when you are in wreck.

When in a crash I'll get you cash

Is the boot completely torn on yours? I'm hoping mine will last me a month so I can get a cheap daily and just park it. I need aftermarket uca's anyway, and my 5100s are about shot. So I wanna do uppers and lowers, coilovers, bumpstops and whatever else all at once and be done with it. But need to let it sit while I save to do that. It is paid off now too so that was always my plan was to retire it from daily use once I owned it outright.
