Haha...don’t get me wrong, I felt very blessed to get that bull! I would love to harvest a 350+ someday, but I love meat in the freezer too much and may never draw one of those coveted tags.

Id put a couple ladder stands, and Depending on typical wind direction. But looks like a couple good spots, one under the tree upper left of the blue outline. Then the big oak/maple by the house ;), But also depending on where the deer have a trail coming into the field bout 60-100yd downwind of that. Just have to watch the way you get into your stand. also clear shot so you dont hit whatever houses are out of view.

Play the wind, looks like you could get to a stand without disturbing much anywhere u put it. I personally like hunting transitions when possible... Like cutover/pines hardwoods/row crops mainly just because it gives me more variety to look at and it isn't as boring, but it does seem like deer travel on the edge on different environments to me so the more edges the better

If it was me, I’d put a temp ground blind in front of that clump of trees in the shade to the left of the blue corner. Are you rifle or bow? Which way is north in the photo?

The shaded area I mentioned will provide good cover, but your visibility eastward will be limited as the sun rises anywhere along the south fence line. Just depends on which way they come in from.

Oh, ok. It’ll just be limited view west then as the sun sets. Looks like a good spot, good luck.

It’s decent, usually the deer are farther in the field be I guess they changed their minds.

There was like 50 in the little field tonight and a ton of lsmskker bucks running around.

    Is this where you’re talking?
